2.2 River Rafting tours / Kayaking
Adventure at its best
Mo (Female) Chu (River) and Pho (Male) Chu in Punakha is the most famous river rafting destination in Bhutan. The difficulty rating of the river rafting and kayaking is higher for Pho Chu, with more rapid currents in comparison to Mo Chu.
Therefore, Pho Chu would be ideally suited for adventurers who are game for an extreme adventure, while Mo Chu river rafting can be recommended for anyone including the first timers.

2.3 Safari
Stunning wilderness, a safe haven for a variety of endangered species…
There is a lot to be seen in the wilderness of Bhutan but the safari to the dense forest requires a special permit from the Royal Government of Bhutan. However, BHUTAN TWIN TRAVELS can arrange for the permit if its safari in Bhutan that you are interested in. One can come across some of the endangered species like the Blue Sheep, Marmot, Golden Langur, Red Panda and Musk Deer.

2.4 Mountain Biking
With roads that snake up and down the mountains, Mountain biking in Bhutan can be a tough task. Despite being a challenge, with the picturesque scene at every turn of the road, it can be rewarding as well. The biking trip from Paro to Thimphu is relatively easier with very few km of uphill ride. During the biking trip, an experienced biker cum guide will lead the ride, while a bus or a SUV will follow you at all times. If the bike riding become tiresome or troublesome the biker will be picked up by the car and served refreshments.
It was until recent that Mountain biking fever finally did catch up with the Bhutanese and today, mountain bikers are a common sight in Bhutan.

Central Bhutan
